Q1.
I've set the age of the directories to 7 days but a month later I've noticed
that the old files are still in there. Why isn't TempDir deleting
them?

A.
You have placed LOCKED files in that directory. TempDir doesn't delete files
which the user has set to be protected against deletion.
You will need to unlock them.

That is, select the files (or the whole directory) and alter their Access
details via the Filer menu.
If this happenes to you often you may want to alter Tempdirs
'Forced deletion' option to ON so that it will delete locked files.
See the 'Tailoring' file.
ie use the 'Set tempdir$forcedelete on' option

Q2.
Is TempDir 32bit compatible?

A.
Yes.

Q3.
I'm using TempDir on VirtualRPC and TempDir isn't expiring the old folders
or its contents.

A.
Yes, this seems to be a bug in Virtual-RPC at this time.
When TempDir looks to see how old the files are in a TempDir directory and
sends a 100% legal call for RISC OS to delete the old files then this
emulated RISC OS appears to ignore it.

End.
